Since I can't be in two places at once I guess I'll have to tell you about some other instructors out there. This is not in order of preference. Just a list of friends that we take every opportunity to dance with.

Veta teaches in various locations. She was the very first instructor we ever took lessons from and we still dance with her every chance we get.

  • Classes on Thursday mornings between 10:00 AM and Noon at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E Riverside Drive, Bothell, WA 98011, Phone: 425-487-2441.

She's available for special lesson sessions and is very good at them.
Veta can be reached by Phone at: (425) 355-4225 or on the Internet at: mmstms@aol.com

Here's a picture of Veta so you can recognize her at events.

Robbin Murphy has her very own studio and usually has two classes each week (as well as going out to teach). If you come you'll find that many of the instructors listed here are also going to Robbin's Nest.

  • Classes on Tuesday from 7:00 PM thru 9:00 PM (Robbin usually shuts down her Tuesday classes during the summer.  Check with her before you go.)
  • Classes on Wednesday from 6:30 PM thru 9:00 PM

Eloise Chinn teaches a great group of people in the International District of Seattle. She usually only teaches 2 new dances each month but she really knows how to pick fun dances. She wants you to know that she's not always teaching however she does quick reviews of older dances during open dance time and we always do some couples pattern dances. The evening begins with a half hour line dance lesson followed by two hours of open dancing for both line and ballroom dancers.

The evening costs only $3.00. Come by and have a great time.

  • Dance every Wednesday night between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM.
Location: the Chong Wa Benevolent Assoc. Bldg., 2nd Floor, 522 7th Ave S., Seattle, WA.

Eloise can be reached by Phone at: (206) 324-9409 or on the Internet at: echinn@hotmail.com .
